Set between a tranquil paradise and a dank, British market, the film follows Edan (19) and Dula (18); two young Black men navigating love, identity, and self-acceptance on an emotional journey about coming into oneself and out to the world. Facing intrusive thoughts and external pressures, the boys must confront fear and shame to rediscover a sense of belonging. Through lyrical storytelling and striking visuals, TBBIP is a celebration of queer love, vulnerability, and the power of embracing who you are.
