The Kurzfilm Agentur Hamburg spreads high quality short films around the world since 1994. At the heart of the Agency’s work are its theatrical distribution with a catalogue of more than 500 national and international films. Alongside various supporting films of different genres and length, the Agency provides a diverse selection of thematically compiled short film packages, including four differnt short film programmes for children. The great majority of our film stock is available in standard cinema format DCP, but nevertheless we distribute short film classics on 35mm.

Over the years the short film distrtibution of the Kurzfilm Agentur Hamburg reached many millions spectators in the cinemas. This engagement has been awarded with the Distributors Award of the Federal German Government in 1996, 2004 and 2014.
