Jannick (14) loves football, but his eyesight is steadily deteriorating. As he can no longer see well enough to control the ball confidently in sighted football, he joins a blind football team. At first, he is viewed with scepticism there, as someone who ‘can still see’. As he trains hard for his first tournament, he begins to feel increasingly at home. Slowly, he settles into the team and tries to come to terms with his new situation.
