From cave paintings to the internet to outer space, from Swiss allotments to American high schools. With four very different films, the NEON short film program spans the globe – but on closer inspection, subtle connections emerge.
It's about listening and looking, and again and again about telling stories. How do we process all the information from an increasingly complex world that never stops turning? How do individuals deal with these challenges in their families, in foreign cultures, in their age groups, or in online communities?

NEON is the youth program of the Mo&Friese Young Short Film Festival Hamburg.
